Jupiter - The king of planets

Jupiter is the biggest planet in our solar system. To make the comparison easier, let us compare it with our own Earth. Diameter - 11 times bigger than Earth Mass - 318 times more than earth Speed or revolution [ 1 year ]- 11.86 Earth years Speed of rotation [ 1 day ] - 9 hours 55 mins as compared to 24 hours Number of moons - 79 Because of its massive size and closer proximity to Earth as compared to distant stars, is shines brilliantly in the night sky and ranks 2nd in terms of bright planets, first being Venus. In the photograph shown below, one can easily see the 2 behemoths in Solar System, Jupiter and Saturn in a single frame. This shot was taken at Candolim Beach, Goa in Mid November 2019. Jupiter can be seen at center of this photograph while Saturn can be observed higher towards left.
